Our current work is exploring the seed of connection between sound and movement. In this piece, we look at alternate tunings and finger styles of the Banjo and how this can texturize and influence a moving body. Is there dissonance? Do they belong together? In exploring the roots of the instrument and stories of bodies moving across space, country, and experience, we find inspiration for this process.
